It was via Instagram that the singer and musician revealed that THE “best album of Cowboys Fringants’ career” would soon see the light of day!
“No one releases an album saying to themselves that what they do is “pocket”. We always think that it will be the album of the year, that our songs will be played on the radio, that broadcasters will want to buy our show and go on tour, that we will have a lot of nominations at ADISQ…
If we thought differently, we would keep our songs to ourselves. We wouldn’t take the risk of being demolished by critics and the public or worse, that no one talks about it…
This is why there will always be many hearts and several egos broken by this profession.
All this beautiful preamble to tell you that I sincerely think that the next Cowboys Fringants album will be our best in our career ????.
And maybe even Jean-François Pauzé
will be entitled to his first nomination at ADISQ in the “songwriter of the year” category. Do we ever know!
