The competitions are not the absolute bible but they allow to highlight what is happening best and best. Everyone to taste and enjoy. The World Beer Awards annually select 2,500 beers from 55 countries in different categories.
Each year, Belgium leaves with numerous prizes and confirms its position as the kingdom of foam. Event in the pilsner category where Bavik Super Pils won the title of Best Pilsner in Belgium (Country Winner) for the second year in a row.
Brasserie De Brabandere, founded in 1894, is obviously very proud of this award because “it is very rare for the same beer to win the title two years in a row”. It also produces Wieze Tripel, Petrus Sours, Witterkerke and the popular Kwaremont.
These beer Oscars are distributed by a jury of connoisseurs and journalists from around the world following a blind tasting.
Bavik Super Pils will therefore be our representative for the title of Best Pils in the world.
