To the editor’s letter “The S-Link and the SPÖ”:
It shows greatness when you recognize a mistake. The S-Link is one of those. An S-Bahn runs every half hour to Hallein and continues to Bischofshofen. Many trolleybuses go to Mirabellplatz. Walking is no problem either, as friends from Vienna say.
The traffic jam on Maxglaner Hauptstrasse and Neutorstrasse will remain because the subway doesn’t run there – right? The billions of euros should be better invested in housing and cycle paths. There are far too few cycle paths and most of them are in a dilapidated condition.
