The Blood Bank of Extremadura has scheduled the donation calendar for the month of September in the region to have blood reserves. The search for donors “is a priority to have optimal blood reserves and avoid shortages,” so citizen collaboration is very necessary, since the only way to obtain this resource is through donations.
Donation points are located in some hospitals in the region and at the headquarters of the Blood Bank in Méridawhich can be attended without an appointment, from Monday to Friday, in the morning, as well as in the mobile units that visit different locations each month.
