“They were asking me tough questions. I think they wanted to see how I was going to react with the media. One of them, I think, was that I used to concede a bad goal a game. And then I was like, “Quoi? (small laugh)”.
“I said I didn’t really agree with that, but I think I responded well by saying that it was something I had to work on. I thought this interview was really difficult. Minnesota and Columbus
During this draft, Price believed that a team other than the Canadiens was going to select him.
“I think Minnesota was drafting before… Montreal picked me right after and I really wasn’t convinced of that decision. Columbus made his choice afterwards. I was thinking… Maybe Minnesota… Maybe Columbus… And maybe even bigger for Montreal.”
Price believes he had a very good rookie camp and he points to the class of José Théodore who supported him well during this time.
