Al-Marsad newspaper: The Libyan authorities found the bodies of at least 15 migrants in the desert on the border with Sudan.

For its part, the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency in the city of Kufra said that the migrants were on their way from Sudan to Libya when their car broke down due to a lack of fuel, according to “Al Arabiya Net”.

He pointed out that nine other migrants survived while two are still missing in the desert, pointing out that they did not have enough food and water.

He indicated that the migrants were all Sudanese who were trying to reach western Libya in an attempt to board smuggling boats to Europe.

The agency shared photos on Facebook showing bodies said to be those of migrants who were later buried in the desert.
