A short while ago, the body of the artist Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab arrived at the tombs of his father, the great director Fateen Abdel Wahab, to be buried next to him in Salah Salem, and the artist, Nihal Anbar, a member of the Board of Directors of the Representative Professions Syndicate, was keen to accompany the body.

Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Acting Professions Syndicate, and artist Nihal Anbar and artist Mounir Makram, members of the Representative Professions Syndicate’s board of directors, participated in the funeral of the artist Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, from the mosque of Mrs. Nafisa, and the funeral prayer was performed on him.

The artist Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab died at the age of 61, as a result of a cardiac arrest after his struggle with cancer, in a hospital in Dokki.

Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, son of actress Laila Murad and director Fateen Abdel Wahab, began his artistic career in 1983 as an assistant director with Ali Badrakhan in the movie “Ahl al-Qimma,” and worked as an assistant director in many of Youssef Chahine’s films, and director of photography for American films filmed in Egypt.

Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab is also the nephew of comedian Siraj Mounir and director Hassan Abdel Wahab.
