The Compagnie de l’Odet holding company controlled by Vincent Bolloré and his children acquired nearly 32 million shares on the market between May 9 and May 19.

The Bolloré family purchased 3.89 million Bolloré shares on May 6 via the Compagnie de l’Odet holding company, at an average unit price of 4.42 euros and 4.4 million shares on May 9 at 4.51 euros . Then 4.14 million on May 10 at 4.59 euros, 1.25 million on May 11 at 4.68 euros, 8.28 million on May 13 at 4.74 euros.

The purchases continued, from 9 million shares on May 16 at 4.75 euros, 123,291 on May 18 at 4.75 euros and 1.54 million on May 19 at 4.75 euros, according to statements made to the Financial Markets Authority. That is a total amount exceeding 157 million euros.

As of December 31, 2021, Sofibol and the various holding companies of the Bolloré galaxy held 92.6% of the capital of Compagnie de l’Odet, which itself owned 64.3% of the capital of the Bolloré group.

The family group is present in communication (29.5% of Vivendi, 28% of Universal Music Group), transport and logistics (of which the African part is in the process of being sold), batteries and electric buses.

Positive analysts

The company has a market capitalization of 14.5 billion euros for a turnover of 20.4 billion and an EBITDA of 2.5 billion expected in 2023.

The average consensus target calculated by Factset is 6.55 euros. The two analysts who follow the value are positive on the action: Eric Ravary of CIC Market Solutions is targeting a price of 6.20
