The Bukis add performances from their reunion tour due to high demand

The announcement of the return of Los Bukis after 25 years away from the stage with their “Una historia cantada” tour has caused great expectation among the followers of the legendary Mexican band, to the extent that the producer has announced new presentations in several cities.

The Bukis sold out the tour’s inaugural concert on August 27 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, within minutes of pre-sale opening, prompting Live Nation to announce a second concert on August 28. in that same place.

The high demand for this second performance swept the tickets again in less than an hour. Due to this, Los Bukis are the first to sell out the entire capacity of the stadium on two occasions.

In Chicago, Illinois, fans sold out in just one weekend for the band’s first concert at Soldier Field, scheduled for September 4.

In response to continued demand, Los Bukis and Live Nation added a second show in Chicago on September 5, and new dates in Houston, Texas on September 18 at NRG Stadium.

Also added are tour stops in San Antonio, Texas on September 25 at the Alamodome and in Oakland, California, where they will perform on October 1 at the RingCentral Coliseum.

Marco Antonio Solís will be escorted to this long-awaited meeting by his brother, José Javier Solís, his cousin Joel Solís, as well as José “Pepe” Guadarrama, Roberto Guadarrama, Eusebio “Chivo” Cortés and Pedro Sánchez.

The band achieved success in their country and throughout America with a mixture of grupera music, pop and ballads.

“Tu jail”, “Quiéreme” or “Yo te nenece” were some of the most popular songs of this group that broke up in 1996 after two decades together, which gave rise to Marco Antonio Solís to start his successful solo career.

The last concert that Los Bukis gave before separating was on May 18, 1996 in Guadalajara (Mexico).

Returning to the road to give a gift to their fans is the goal that Los Bukis have set for this tour of the United States.

“Our audience deserves everything,” said Marco Antonio Solís in a recent interview with Efe at the SoFi Stadium.
