Fight once morest terrorism: the Burkinabè Head of State is in Niamey

(Niamey, September 11, 2022). The President of Faso, Lieutenant-Colonel Paul-Henri Sandaogo DAMIBA, arrived in Niamey in the Republic of Niger, this Sunday, September 11.

President DAMIBA was greeted when he got off the plane by Niger’s Prime Minister, Mahamadou OUHOUMOUDOU, then taken to the Presidential Palace where his counterpart Mohamed BAZOUM was waiting for him.

The two Heads of State will have a working session with the security issue as a point of discussion. It will be for them to assess the situation and find the best strategies to best coordinate the hunt once morest the armed groups that attack and cross the border common to the two States.

He is accompanied by the Minister of National Defense and Veterans Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Commander of National Theater Operations.
