Nagpur ∙ Three passengers died after their car fell into the river due to heavy rain. Many people gathered on the shore to see the car falling into the river, but no one came to save them. The footage of the car sinking went viral on social media. In the footage, the hand can be seen sticking out from inside the vehicle.
There were six people in the vehicle. Three of them are missing. Among the dead was a woman. Police said the car fell into the river while crossing the bridge in Savner Tehsil. The search is on for the three persons.
The victims were from Madhya Pradesh. Police informed that they were returning after attending a wedding in Nagpur. Heavy rains have killed 83 people in Maharashtra so far. Heavy rains are lashing many parts of the state.
