The Casablanca Stock Exchange starts in the red

Stock Exchange (Casablanca) – The Casablanca Stock Exchange was trading in negative territory on Monday, with MASI dropping 0.3% to 13,318.32 points (pts).

The MSI20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, fell 0.31% to 1082.39 pts and the MADEX, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, lost 0.32% to 10,773.47 pts.

The Casablanca ESG 10, a thematic index that calculates the price performance of socially responsible companies, fell 0.34% to 994.58 pts.

The FTSE CSE Morocco 15 lost 56% to 12.537.82 pts and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid was down 0.35% to 11.246.68 pts.

On an individual level, Stokvis North Africa (-2.68% at 16 dirhams (DH)), Label Vie (-2.28% at 4.837 DH) and Microdata (-2.08% at 664 DH) showed the highest drops.

Conversely, Alliances (+ 2.7% to 37.97 DH) posted the largest increase of the morning, ahead of Res Dar Saada (+ 1.82% at 28 DH) and Cosumar (+ 1.15% at 264 DH).

On Friday, the MASI ended with a loss of 0.35%.
