The Central Bank announces the working hours of banks during the month of Ramadan and the two Eid holidays

The Saudi Central Bank, “SAMA”, set working hours in branches, offices and transfer centers affiliated with banks, during the working days of the month of Ramadan, and the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays.

He explained that the daily working hours during the month of Ramadan will be from 10 am to 4 pm in the branches, and from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm in the transfer centers.

And regarding the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the Central Bank confirmed that business will stop at the end of work on (Monday), corresponding to 9/26/1444 AH, corresponding to 4/17/2023, provided that work will resume on (Tuesday) corresponding to 10/5/1444 AH, corresponding to 4/25/2023.

With regard to Eid Al-Adha, he stated that work will stop at the end of (Thursday), corresponding to 12/4/1444 AH, 6/22/2023, provided that it will resume on (Sunday), corresponding to 12/14/1444 AH, 7/2/2023. .

With regard to the Saudi system for rapid money transfers, the daily working hours during the month of Ramadan will be from 10 am to 4 pm, and work will stop for the Eid holiday at the end of work on (Thursday) corresponding to 9/29/1444 AH, corresponding to 4/20/2023, provided that Business will resume on (Tuesday) corresponding to 10/5/1444 AH, corresponding to 4/25/2023.

The work of the system will also stop for the Eid al-Adha holiday, at the end of work on (Monday) corresponding to 12/8/1444 AH, corresponding to 6/26/2023, provided that work resumes on (Sunday) corresponding to 12/14/1444 AH, corresponding to 7/2/ 2023.

The Central Bank noted that the offices of banks and their seasonal branches in the cities of air and sea pilgrims, the holy sites in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and the border crossings will remain open to serve pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors. Transfer in places that require open headquarters for work during certain periods during the holidays.

He pointed out that these instructions do not apply to the “SARIE” instant payments system, which will continue to operate around the clock.
