The Champion Teams in NFL Super Bowl History

The NFL Super Bowl is one of the most important sporting events in the world and has had an impact in the United States since its creation in 1967, integrating the NFC and AFC to define a single champion team.

Everything is ready for Super Bowl LVII, which will take place on February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will meet in an unprecedented final, even though both teams have already played several championship finals.

The Chiefs’ record in the big game is two wins and two losses in their four appearances, the most recent being a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. In the case of the Eagles, the last of their three visits was in Super Bowl LII, where they defeated the New England Patriots to lift their first championship trophy.

Below is a review of all the Super Bowls that have been played since its first edition in 1967 to date, mentioning the teams that played them, final results and much more.
