The large three-row crossover Changan CS95 has been produced since 2016, but only now the Chinese have decided to supply it to the Russian market. The model has already been announced on the company’s website, deliveries should begin before the end of the first half of the year. Meanwhile, the updated “ninety-fifth” is presented in China, and this is the second restyling for the entire time of the model’s release.

This time the update turned out to be cosmetic and affected mainly the plastic plumage. Changan CS95 has found new bumpers with enlarged “fangs” along the edges and a different grille. The plastic trims on the wheel arches and doors are back to black, as was the case with the original model before the first restyling in 2019.

The optics remained the same, but an LED block of running lights is now installed between the headlights, and the taillights are darkened. Pseudo-pipes of the exhaust system imitate four pipes instead of two. The lining on the front fenders has been changed, new wheels have appeared. The length of the crossover has not changed (4949 mm).

Metamorphosis in the cabin is even less. Instead of the traditional “automatic” selector, there is now a non-fixed joystick, small decor has been revised, and a new seat upholstery has appeared. The front panel with instrument screens (10.25 inches) and media systems (12.3 inches) is the same, and on the second row there is an uncontested three-seater sofa: the option in the form of captain’s seats is not provided.

The power unit has not changed either. Changan CS95 is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine (233 hp, 360 Nm) and a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Drive – front or full (with a clutch for connecting the rear axle). In China, such crossovers cost from 26 thousand to 32 thousand dollars and are in sluggish demand: in 2021, only 8,844 cars were sold, and in 2022, about six thousand units.

It is not yet clear in what form the Changan CS95 will reach Russia: it has happened more than once that Chinese models entered our market in pre-styling form, although updated versions were released at home by this time. Most likely, our CS95 will cost about four million rubles: now they are asking so much for cars imported unofficially through parallel channels.
