DS offers a (small) offer on the electric version of its city car, freshly restyled.

The DS 3 E-Tense was refreshed a few months ago (losing the Crossback suffix on this occasion). But sales are struggling. If we count the two versions (before and following restyling), just under 1,000 copies were registered in France during the first half. At the same time, Mini delivered nearly 3,000 Cooper SEs.

To attract customers’ attention to its model, DS has set up an offer this summer. The brand offers the home charging station, with its installation. It is an eProWallBox, which allows you to recharge from 0 to 100% in 5h45. Charging can be managed remotely on the smartphone. The gift is made within the limit of 1200 €.

In addition, DS offers those who place an order an eco-driving course with a professional, “in order to discover and perfect the techniques that can significantly increase the efficiency of one’s driving”. The brand also adds the loan of another model from the range for a week, useful for those who have a long trip planned during the year.

The DS 3 E-Tense has however progressed on the autonomy side. Since its restyling, the car has been equipped with a more powerful block (156 hp) and a larger battery (54 kWh in gross capacity), which allows it to announce 404 km of autonomy in the WLTP combined cycle.

Still, the car has to deal with new cousins that use the same technical basis, and will certainly be very troublesome, the Fiat 600e and Jeep Avenger.
