The cheapest ski resort in Europe is… in the Alpes-Maritimes

Ski resorts will begin, little by little, to open their areas to snow sports enthusiasts. If skiing often rhymes with paying, the vacation rental site Holidu has produced a ranking of the cheapest ski resorts in Europe.
To carry out this study, the platform studied the daily costs of ski passes and the accommodation rates per night and per person of all ski resorts in Europe which include more than 20 kilometers of slopes.
The cheapest stations are French
And the cheapest resort is in the Alpes-Maritimes. This is Roubion les Buisses. As indicated on the site skiinfo.frthe ski area is located “between 1,410 and 1,920 meters above sea level”he is “served by 8 ski lifts (including 1 chairlift) giving access to 30 km of alpine ski slopes (2 green, 5 blue, 12 red and 2 black)”. Allow 20 euros for a ski pass in high season. The price of accommodation starts at around 26 euros per night. Or on average 42 euros per day and per person.
This is one euro less than for the other two stations on the podium. Namely Réallon, in the Hautes-Alpes, and Lans-en-Vercors, in Isère.
And since the first six places in the ranking are occupied by tricolor resorts, then come Artouste-Laruns in the Pyrenees, Seyne-Le Grand Puy in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Le Collet d’Allevard in Isère, with a cost average of 44 euros per day and per person.
And abroad?
The first foreign station is in Greece. This is Vasilitsa, where a day is offered at an average cost of 45 euros. Kolašin, Montenegro, ranks 10th with 47 euros per day per person. Two other resorts in France appear in this top 10. We then find Hautacam – Argelès-Gazost (Hautes-Pyrénées, 8th) and Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes (Hautes-Alpes, 9th).
The prize for the most expensive resort goes to Italy and its ski area of Cortina d’Ampezzo with an average cost of 258 euros.
