The party congress of the Communist Party of China will be held on October 16. The news regarding this was released by the national media quoting the Polit Bureau meeting. The meeting also decided to hold the seventh plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee on October 9.
Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to be elected for a third term at the conference held every five years. A new leadership will also be elected. About 2,300 Communist Party delegates from across the country will participate.
