The Chinese company “Honor” launches its new “X7” phone

The Chinese company, “Honor”, the smart phone maker, launched its new phone, “X7”, which comes in the economic category preferred by young people.

Malaysia will receive the new phone first, and then the Chinese company will launch it in other markets later. The company also promised that the phone will provide real value for a reasonable price.

The new phone has a full-screen (FullView) type “LCD” high-resolution 6.74 inches (720 x 1600 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an aspect ratio of 19.9: 9 and features 16.7 million colors.

The phone is powered by a powerful processor in this price category, as it comes with an eight-core “Snapdragon 680” processor from the American company “Qualcomm”, paired with an “Adreno 610” graphic processor with 4 GB of random access memory (RAM).

Also, the phone features “Honor RAM Turbo” technology that allows the RAM to be expanded up to 2 GB by taking advantage of the unused free space of storage. The phone works on the “Android 11” operating system from the box, with the famous “Honer” interface, “Magic UI 4.2”.

The internal storage space is 128 GB. Connectivity options on the phone include support for 4G or LTE networks, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm port, and support “USB OTG”.

The sensors in the phone include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 2D facial recognition sensor, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, a gravity sensor, compass, gyroscope, GPS, “GLONASS”, “Beidou” and “Galileo”.

The phone also contains a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh that supports fast charging “Honor SuperCharge” with a power of 22.5 watts. The phone weighs about 198 grams and comes in “Ocean Blue” and “Titanium Silver” color options.

In terms of photography, the Honor X7 smartphone features a quad rear camera setup, which has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f / 1.8 lens slot. There is also a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a final macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

Honor claimed that the rear camera setup provides an 8x digital zoom. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, for selfies and video calls. The company said that the phone can capture 1080p videos via the front and rear cameras.

It is expected that the price and availability details of the “Honor X7” phone will be announced today, Tuesday, at an event that the “Honor” company will hold in Malaysia to reveal the rest of the products to be launched in the coming period.
