Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the crying and collapse of the Iraqi artist, Shatha Hassoun, on the air while talking about her being exposed to domestic violence directly.

Hassoun said, during an interview on the “Jaafar Talk” program, that she had been subjected to violence in a previous relationship, so she decided to run away from home.

Shatha Hassoun defended the right of a man to marry 4 women according to the Islamic religion, explaining that a woman cannot do that.

And she continued, “In the end, it is personal freedom and is found in Sharia, and not a woman’s personal freedom for physical reasons, because the boy will not be known to whom, and DNA testing in the early months can kill the fetus.”
