The absence from the congress of several bigwigs of the movement was strongly noticed.
The CDH continues its transformation into a Committed movement, not without encountering its share of difficulties. The National Congress which was held on Saturday May 14 in Liège to approve the manifesto and the statutes of the movement only brought together 320 participants, against more than 1,300 for that of March during which the new name was announced. The absences of Benoît Lutgen, Catherine Fonck and Joëlle Milquet were particularly noted.
