On Sunday, April 14, the concert of the Guitar Orchestra of Patras was held successfully, in the Didacheion Hall of Culture.
In the A part, compositions by Giorgos Papadopoulos were performed with the same composer on guitar, with his works for solo guitar from the book and CD Dreamways, while in the B part of the concert the Patras Guitar Orchestra appeared.
In this musical journey, the guide was the Guitar Orchestra of Patras, with Patronus guitarist and composer Giorgos Papadopoulos as Artistic Director.
Perfectly and sensitively performed melodies flooded the warm and welcoming space of the Didacheion and enchanted the audience through a program with 15 themes from well-known film music, Greek and foreign songs arranged by George Papadopoulos.
The participation of the students is remarkable, as they have joined the orchestra with special passion and love and are already receiving warm comments and criticisms as well as suggestions for new performances.
In the Guitar Orchestra of Patras, the Guitarists appeared: Thomas Antoniou, Konstantinos Giannakopoulos, Marialena Xipolia, Giorgos Siamas, Christina Karageorgopoulou, Eleni Vessi, Vassilis Sokolas, Ilias Kepenos, Apostolis Kepenos and the Guitar Professor George Papadopoulos.
