RIYADH: Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that it has started the provision of ‘fingerprint’ registration for those coming from UK, Tunisia, Kuwait, Bangladesh and Malaysia to get Umrah visa online.
The Ministry said that the aim is to facilitate the procedures of those coming to perform Umrah through ports in Saudi Arabia. Those who want to register their fingerprints to get Umrah visa should download ‘Saudi Visa Bio Application’ and then select the type of visa. Applicants must scan their passports to verify identification. The applicant must then take a full face photograph via camera to match the personal photograph in the passport. Finally, 10 fingerprints need to be electronically scanned through the camera.
