There is no hot room without desecration. An act that human morality condemns. A vision that offends decency. The shows of Alexander Zeldin, 38, are marked with this seal, which is that of the great tragedians, from Sophocles to the Englishwoman Sarah Kane. The British author and director lifts the veil, from Wednesday at the Comédie de Genève, after the Théâtre de l’Odéon in Paris, on the destiny of his mother. The Confessions succeeds on the Geneva stage to Love and to A Death in the Family. The son becomes a spinner: his work is loving, but uncompromising, captivating for this reason.
