This cost Kane the opportunity to say goodbye to the Tottenham staff and team-mates, whom he had eaten in the same bowl for nearly 20 years. He also couldn’t take any of his belongings he left behind in the locker room and the like. The Tottenham club needs to organize it and send it to Kane. Kane’s family was also barred from entering.
It is highly likely that Chairman Levy’s influence was behind these measures. Kane wanted to continue his training as well as say goodbye to his teammates.
