After his victory at the GP Marcel Kint last weekthe young 20-year-old rider did it again on the Flèche de Heist to win his 5th success of the season. Earlier in the season, he had also won the Trofeo Playa de Palma, the GP Monséré and the Volta Limburg.
Having become one of the best sprinters in the peloton in a very short time, De Lie offered himself neither more nor less than Giacomo Nizzolo et Mark Cavendish (respectively 28 and 160 professional victories) in the sprint this Sunday. Daniel McLay and Laurens Sweeck complete the Top 5 of this 2022 edition.
