First, some bad news for anyone who has ever enjoyed this column: it is coming to an end with this issue. But there is also good news for everyone who has always been a thorn in the side: it is coming to an end with this issue. From exactly January 2009 to December 2023 I worked as a crisis columnist in ALBUM, now the crises continue – and how! – but not the column. That’s okay too. After fifteen years you can let it go and turn to other writing formats.
