His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received a phone call today from Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they discussed relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.
With regard to the crisis in Ukraine, His Highness the Crown Prince clarified the Kingdom’s stated position and support for efforts that lead to a political solution that leads to its end and achieves security and stability, and that the Kingdom is ready to make efforts to mediate between all parties.
On the impact of the Ukraine crisis on energy markets, His Highness reiterated the Kingdom’s keenness to maintain the oil market’s balance and stability, noting the role of the OPEC Plus agreement in this and the importance of maintaining it.
