The Territorial Collectivity concretizes its strategy in favor of food self-sufficiency by adopting several support measures for farmers and diversification. An “emergency and recovery plan” in favor of small-scale agriculture was validated by the Assembly of Martinique during the plenary session on Thursday 27 April. Our elected officials also voted in favor of a program to increase the useful agricultural area of our department by 1,000 hectares.
