Correa seems to lead Giants’ Priority List following failing to get Judge’s services. Bogaerts might be close to signing with the Red Sox. For their part, the Cubs have been linked with every shortstop still on the market, so if Correa and Bogaerts sign with those teams, the North Chicago squad might ramp up their efforts to add Swanson.
According to Ken Rosenthal of the portal The Athleticthe Cubs view Swanson “as possibly their most realistic target” at shortstop.
