The cult horror classic returns to theaters in the highly anticipated sequel

Fans of the horror-comedy Beetlejuice can rejoice as the long-awaited sequel finally hits theaters this year. After 36 long years, we have not only more speculations and hints, but even certainty in the form of a trailer for the second part.

For those unfamiliar with the original film, Beetlejuice is a 1988 horror comedy film directed by Tim Burton. The story follows a young couple – Adam and Barbara, who die in a car accident and become ghosts trapped in their own house. When new owners move in, Adam and Barbara turn to the deranged ghost Beetlejuice to help them evict the new residents. The film is known for its dark atmosphere, bizarre characters and excellent sense of humor.

Played by the iconic Michael Keaton, Beetlejuice became one of the most memorable movie villains and achieved cult status. For years fans have been asking for a sequel and their prayers have been answered. As you can see, the trailer promises a continuation in the spirit of the original.

In addition to the original cast consisting of Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, you can also look forward to the popular actress Jenna Ortega, as well as Monica Bellucci, Justin Theroux and Willem Dafoe. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will enter Czech cinemas on September 5, 2024.
