The Dic investigation into the management of Covid funds revealed its secrets: the Ministry of Sports and its Dage were caught red-handed.
According to information from Libération, the DIC investigation revealed a system of financial predation at the heart of the Ministry of Sports during the management of Covid funds. In the report reviewed by Libération, it is established that the suspected facts of embezzlement have been established.

It is established that the DAGE, Mamadou Niang Ngom created false invoices whose amounts are also questioned by the alleged beneficiaries, notably the wrestler Gris Bordeaux. The investigators also expressed doubts about the sum of 205 million FCFA that the Dage claims to have given, against discharge, to the Basketball Federation, whose president Me Baba Ndiaye remains uncontactable throughout the investigation.
Gris Bordeaux and the wrestlers’ association revealed that they had only received an amount of 10 million FCFA against discharge and not 15 million FCFA as previously claimed by Dage Mamadou Ngom Niang. Gris bordeaux adds that he did not sign the discharge of 15 million FCFA. He confides that his signature was forged and the identification number mentioned there is not his.

He also sent the investigators the discharge of the amount of 10 million FCFA and a specimen of his signature to reinforce his remarks. The president of the Senegalese Football League, Saer Seck, confided that DAGE paid him, on March 12, 2021, and in cash, the sum of 100 million FCFA. Which is a serious violation of accounting procedures.
Saer Seck stressed that the Dage had not given him any discharge at the time of transmitting the funds. The Dage admitted, during his hearing, to having fabricated the discharge to justify himself to the Court of Auditors. Concerning Gris Bordeaux, he made the same admission.

The DAGE confided when he gave Gris Bordeaux the 15 million FCFA, the latter would have asked him to only mention the 10 million because the 5 million should be used to “discreetly” help the wrestlers in difficulty.
