Al-Marsad newspaper: Consultant dermatologist, Dr. Najla Al-Dosari, revealed the dangers of “shingles” for women, describing it as more severe than the pain of childbirth and may cause blindness.
Al-Dosari said on the Al-Rased program on Al-Ekhbariya channel that most people who suffer from shingles describe the pain as electricity, stabbings, or electrical vibrations.
She pointed out that some women described the pain of shingles as being more severe than the pain of childbirth.
Its symptoms include infection and then disappearance following 10 days or two weeks. Its problem is postpartum pain that lasts for years and affects any nerve in the body, the eye nerve and causes blindness, or the ear nerve and has consequences on the nervous system.
