The death of the Egyptian musician, Mohamed Sultan, was absent on Sunday evening, after a long struggle with illness and a heart attack, as a result of which he was transferred to Kasr Al-Aini Hospital before he died there.
The Egyptian musician passed away at the age of 85, when he was born in Alexandria in 1937, and was known in his artistic beginnings as an actor, before heading to the field of music.
The late married the singer Faiza Ahmed, and she bore him two sons, who work in the medical profession in France, according to their father previously.

The Board of Directors of the Syndicate of Musical Professions issued a statement mourning the late, emphasizing that they are coordinating to hold a funeral in a place befitting the value of the late musician.
Sultan inherited the love of music from his mother, who was good at playing and singing, so he learned to play the oud and the piano since he was a child, while his father was a police officer who reached the rank of hakmdar.
