A state of sadness and sorrow prevailed among the people of Ismailia Governorate over the death of Engineer Ismail Othman, the former head of the Ismaili Club, because he enjoyed a good biography, gentleness of character, humility and tolerance of thought and tolerance, as he was loved inside and outside the governorate.
The people and athletes of the governorate mourned the late deceased, praying to the Almighty to inspire his family and relatives patience and solace, dwell in his vast gardens and grant him the highest paradise.
Engineer Ismail Othman obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering Business Administration in 1999 from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, a Master’s in Construction Management in 1972 from the same university, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1965 from Ain Shams University in Egypt.
He held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Green Valley Company” and “Arab Automation Control Company”, and was a member of the board of directors of many companies, including: “Enviro Egypt Company”, “The Egyptian Company for Urban Investment”, and “Arab Industries Company” electrical”.
He is a senior advisor to the Othman Ahmed Othman Group, and Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Federation of Construction and Building Contractors. And Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Educational Cooperative Society of Egypt Language Schools, Arab Republic of Egypt.
He chaired the boards of directors of the Egyptian Foundation for Sustainable Development, the Association for Business Enterprises to Preserve the Environment, and the Higher Institute of Engineering, and served as Chairman of the Chamber of Food Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries between 1984 and 1988, and Chairman of the The Egyptian-American Council for Economic Cooperation for Private Sector Affairs, and Vice-Chairman of the Egyptian-Canadian Business Committee between 1985 and 1988.
He served as Secretary-General and Board Member of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab Businessmen Union, Vice President of the Arab Contractors Union, Head of the Ismailia Governorate Local Council, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Misr Company For Construction and Building Information”, and “The Arab Contractors Company – Othman Ahmed Othman and Partners”, and the Chairman and Managing Director of the “Egyptian Company for Rail and Transport Projects”.
