The death of the great Jordanian artist, Daoud Jalajel

The great artist and actor, Daoud Jalajel, died on Tuesday evening, one of the brightest Jordanian stars in drama and theater, and one of the founding pioneers of the dramatic movement in the sixties, and an active presence in the Jordanian drama scene, according to the Jordanian Ministry of Culture.

The late has series and dramas such as “Ras Ghlais”, “Jalwa Rakan” and “Al-Aqd Al-Farid”, and in comedies such as “Al-Ilm Nour”, and he has a work directed at children, which is the series “Professor Bahjat School”. Jalajel was born in Silwan village in occupied Jerusalem. On February 2, 1947, he began his journey with drama in 1968, and presented more than 200 artworks including dramas, plays and children’s programs.
