Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said that at least 5,894 people have died in the country so far, and 34,810 have been injured. According to him, 16,139 teams are conducting search and rescue operations in the disaster zone. More than 70 countries have sent rescue teams and other assistance.

The Syrian state news agency SANA has refined that at least 812 people were victims of the earthquake in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama, Idlib and Tartus.

According to the CNN channel, at least 1,832 people were killed in the country, 3,894 residents were injured.
