The first patch for Payday 3 has been delayed a few times now. While fans were anticipating it earlier this month, it seems the update isn’t quite ready yet. In a new post, though, Starbreeze explains why we haven’t seen the patch yet, and it seems like a good thing that the developers took so long to make sure it works as expected. Apparently, the team discovered a critical bug in the update shortly after the game’s release, which could put player progress at risk. “We’ve seen a lot of your feedback about the progression system,” Starbreeze wrote. “Our designers are working on how to tweak the system to balance the challenge system and the Infamous Points awarded for each heist, and we’ll be back soon with more info on what that will look like. Expect to see that before the end of the year Free content updates for the game, and we’ll share more about those when we get there. Currently, the first patch is going through the testing and certification process, but once it comes back, we should know more about when this patch Release.
