Ibrahim Saber, Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Eastern Region, sent a message of reassurance to the citizens of the Sixth and Seventh Neighborhoods in Nasr City West.
The governorate had announced the removal of the blocks of the sixth and seventh neighborhoods in Nasr City in order to implement a development plan for them, and in return it offered several options to the people.
Saber told Masrawy that no citizen will be subjected to injustice in the development process to be implemented in the region.
The deputy of the eastern region in Cairo added that they will continue to negotiate and sit with the people on an ongoing basis until a satisfactory result is reached.
He pointed out that the Egyptian state is keen on the interests of citizens and that none of them will be harmed.
The Deputy Governor of Cairo stressed that no removal will be carried out until an understanding is reached with the residents in the targeted areas and to ensure that they receive compensation.
Ibrahim Saber concluded: All residents will obtain their rights before the start of the implementation of the project, stressing: We must give people their rights first, and then we start implementing it.
