The Artists Syndicate in Syria mourned the actor Shadi Zidan, who died today, Friday, at the age of 49, days after he suffered a health crisis, as a result of which he was hospitalized.
The syndicate said that the funeral of the deceased’s body will take place tomorrow, Saturday, from Dar Al-Shifa Hospital to his hometown in the city of “Al-Rahiba” so that he will be buried there.
The deceased is the brother of the actors Ayman and Wael Zidan, and he was famous, in his early days, for comic roles such as the character (Mahrous) in the series (6-star family) in 1997, after which he presented dozens of various roles on television.
A number of Syrian artists mourned him on social media.
Among the most prominent series in which the late actor participated were (Birds of Doubt) and (Rain Song). He had also recently finished filming his role in the series (Alley of the Jinn), which will be shown next Ramadan.
