Continuation of this story that we reported to you a week ago: a couple from Deurne is detained in Turkey, suspected of trafficking in archaeological objects. Kim and Warre, on vacation in the Manavdat region, had collected three stones to decorate their aquarium in their house.

A real archaeological object?
According to experts appointed by Turkish authorities, one of the stones is actually an archaeological discovery, with historical value. In any case, this is what we can read on the Turkish specialized information site Arkeolojik Haber. This is bad news for the Flemings, who received a ban from leaving the country before their trial.

The couple faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
