The photos, the sizes, the logos, the distribution, the names, the size again. The screen of the Single Electronic Ballot that will be used in the April 16 elections in Neuquén will be key to the definition of the charges at stake and today some thirty party representatives were able to expose their criticisms and preferences in the face of electoral justice. At the hearing that took place this morning, the majority demanded changes regarding the proposal brought by Judge Alejandra Bozzanowho will have 48 hours to decide which ones he accepts.
The design is similar to the one used in the 2019 provincial elections and in the 2021 municipal elections. This implies that the first step for the voter will be to choose if you want to vote by complete list or by categories.

The number of parties that will be competing in the April 16 election forced “compress” the electoral offer on the screens of the machines, which resulted in the Candidate photos look quite small.

In the electoral justice proposal, there is the image of the candidates for governor, the first candidate for deputy, the candidate for mayor, the first councilor and the first of the school counselors. The UNE partners also agreed with the logo and asked that it remain “as large as possible”.

The judge will now have 48 hours to decide whether to accept the modification requests made by the parties. Its resolution may also be appealed to the Provincial Electoral Board.
