This Saturday a new episode of the divine food which included the participation of Paulina Nin, Gustavo Toro, Rodrigo Soto and María José Campos.
During the conversation, the former dancer known as the “Green Bean” surprised by revealing the harsh and acid criticism she received during her time on the Morandé Con Compañía program for the type of content she showed in the space.
It all started when María José remembered when she went on television, mentioning that at that time she was 23 years old and in her fifth year of university, studying Dance Pedagogy.
“Did they criticize you?” Paulina asked during the meal.
It was then that Campos revealed that “yes, not all of them, but a teacher who did… (He told me) ‘So much wasted talent, you’re prostituting dance, dancing like bataclanas’”.
The now businesswoman explained that, although the “Green Bean” was something of the past, until today it was a topic that reminded her.
“I regretted”
Likewise, Campos revealed that years later he wanted to continue studying, at which point he wanted to leave the “character” behind.
“Everything was super natural, organic and happiness and love until I entered drama school. As I studied, as I learned and progressed, insecurities appeared in me, about my past and at that moment I thought… I regretted it, ”she confessed.
Along the same lines, he added: “I regretted having done everything I had done, I questioned it for a long time, I reneged on the ‘Green Bean’, I wanted people to forget about me because I mistakenly thought that if they forgot I could have a chance in the theatre.
But over time, the ex-dancer put aside the questions and insecurities she had from her television past.
“Today I look back and say: ‘but what nonsense.’ Truly, if she were to be born again, she would do it all over again, the same. I love dancing and I love theater too”, concluded María José Campos.
