The Dodgers reached an agreement with Noah Syndergaard

Noah Syndergaard is back in Los Angeles — this time with the Dodgers, who have agreed to a one-year, $13 million deal with the right-hander, sources told MLB.com. The club has not confirmed the agreement, with which the pitcher might earn up to $1.5 million more in bonuses.

Syndergaard is expected to join Los Angeles’ starting rotation.

The good news for Syndergaard in 2022 following missing most of the past two years is that he stayed healthy through the 24 starts (plus one relief) he made in the season between the Angels and Phillies, to a total of 134.2 sections. In addition, he started two postseason games for a Philadelphia team that reached the World Series.

Syndergaard, who turned 30 in August, was solid, posting a 3.94 ERA with a 103 ERA+ in 2022.
