The dollar exchange rate rose today, Wednesday, at the same historical level that it recorded before in December 2016 against the pound, after a noticeable rise in today’s trading compared to its level yesterday.
Today, the price of the dollar rose 5 piasters against the pound in 8 banks at the end of trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, while the price stabilized in two other banks.
The average dollar exchange rate in banks rose to 19.44 pounds for purchase and 19.52 pounds for sale, according to central bank data today, Wednesday, the same historical level recorded on December 21, 2016.
Masrawy monitors the price of the dollar against the pound in 10 banks during today’s trading, while comparing it during yesterday’s trading.

The National Bank of Egypt: 19.44 pounds for purchase, and 19.50 pounds for sale, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Banque Misr: 19.44 pounds for purchase, and 19.50 pounds for sale, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Bank of Alexandria: 19.46 pounds for buying and 19.52 pounds for selling, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Banque du Caire: 19.46 pounds for buying and 19.52 pounds for selling, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Commercial International Bank: EGP 19.46 for buying and EGP 19.52 for selling, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Arab African Bank: EGP 19.44 for buying and EGP 19.52 for selling, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Suez Canal Bank: 19.42 pounds for purchase, and 19.52 pounds for sale, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank: EGP 19.49 for buying, and EGP 19.52 for selling, with an increase of 5 piasters for buying and selling.
Credit Agricole: 19.40 pounds for purchase, and 19.47 pounds for sale.
Al Baraka Bank: 19.35 pounds for purchase, and 19.45 pounds for sale.
