Astronomer researcher and meteorologist Dr. Khaled Al-Zaaq said that the number of summer days is 120 days, divided into beginning, intensity and end.
Al-Zaaq explained that “the summer season begins in June, and intensifies in July and August, when the summer temperature reaches its peak,” noting that “the end of summer is in September, and we are now living in the severity of the summer season.”
He added, “The ancient Arabs called this period the summer season, and the general public divided it into two parts, the summer heat and the summer heat.”
