Al-Marsad Newspaper: Many girls expressed their happiness to join the military service.
Ruba bint Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi, a first soldier in the Navy, said that she felt very happy after receiving the letter of approval to join the Royal Saudi Navy, noting that her family is mostly officers and loves a life of discipline.
And she added – according to a report by mbc: “The land did not let me down, so I was ready to settle for anything to enter the military to the extent that I signed a waiver of my bachelor’s degree because my major was not required, and the first time I heard the news, I was hitting the road until I came to Riyadh.”
For her part, Noura Nasser Al-Tarifi, Assistant Director of the Women’s Cadre Training Center for the Armed Forces, said that female recruits in the Ministry of Defense are highly qualified, and we offer them 3-month courses in theoretical and practical subjects, as well as courses in the use of weapons and a course in military police and administration.
