The Egyptian pound is rising again after a significant decline against the dollar

The Egyptian pound rose today, Wednesday, following a significant decline once morest the dollar, to record 29.75.

Refinitiv data showed that the Egyptian pound fell to 30 pounds once morest the dollar in volatile trading on Wednesday morning.
Data issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics on Tuesday showed that annual consumer price inflation in Egyptian cities rose in December to 21.3 percent, the highest level since late 2017, exceeding analysts’ expectations.
