In Cutral Co, the JMunicipal Electoral Council announced the schedule that political parties and groups must meet to participate in the elections on July 23, when the mayor and nine seats in the Deliberative Council. The deadline to submit the list of candidates for the municipal seat is May 24 and the electoral campaign will begin on May 27 of that same month.
The Municipal Electoral Board is chaired by the Judge of Misdemeanors, Ana Stempin and the representatives of the Executive and the Deliberative Council, in addition to the political groups.
Although all those interested in participating in the elections must adhere to the approved schedule, there are deadlines that attract attention because they define the candidates. In this case, May 8 is the deadline to request the recognition of Alliances and May 24 of that same month the term of presentation of the candidates concludes.
Before the day was made known where the cutralquense electorate will go to the polls, the names of the MPN candidates were already there, for example, who previously defined that César Omar Pérez will be the man who will try to fight for the municipal seat.
From the ruling party, it will be the two-time mayor Ramón Rioseco, who will once again certify to be in charge of the municipality.
Meanwhile, Rubén García Ceballos from Comunidad, the space of the governor-elect Rolando Figueroa is the name that already appears on the graffiti on the walls. From the Left Front and the Workers it has not yet been announced who will apply.
The schedule establishes that the May 27 will be the beginning of the electoral campaign. Then on June 5 will be the presentation of the elements contained in the ballot screen. The end of the term to integrate the requests for recognition of political parties and alliances formulated will be June 23, 2023.
In Cutral Co, the last electoral register that was used for the provincial elections gave that 30,138 people were authorized to vote. Finally, July 23 will be the day where the post for the mayor, new titular councilors and five substitutes will be voted.
