The electroencephalogram: recording the electrical activity of the brain

The electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test that measures and records the electrical activity of the brain.

The EEG is useful in the assessment of discomfort, the diagnosis and monitoring of epilepsy, but also for other neurological pathologies: origin of certain comas, and in newborns in all cases of cerebral suffering. This examination does not cause any pain.
